Buying a car? How safe is it?
If your child is looking for their first car, safety should come first. Cars with a 4 or 5-star safety rating offer better protection in a crash. The free Safe Cars QLD search tool makes it easy to compare vehicles by price, make and model, type, or even number plate. You can also filter for P-plater approved options.
Before buying, check the safety rating, the more stars, the safer they’ll be. Start here: www.qld.gov.au/safecars
