A Note from the Principal

It is a privilege to have the opportunity to join the Toogoolawah SHS community as Acting Principal for Term 4, 2025. As communicated to parents and caregivers on Monday, my substantive position is Head of School at Roma State College and prior to that, my teaching and school leadership roles have all been in the Metropolitan Region.

I have enjoyed a great start to the week meeting as many members of our community as possible and addressing students and staff at assembly. It was wonderful to be able to see and hear many acknowledgements and celebrations of great work and success and I very much look forward to seeing this continue. In my first few days, I have been very impressed with so many aspects of the school, and I look forward to being able to add to the great work that is occurring at Toogoolawah SHS.

Term 3 reports were emailed home at the end of Week 1 this term and students have also been provided a hard copy of their report. If you have not yet had the chance to do so, please review and discuss this most recent report with your child/ren at your earliest opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate success in achievement, effort and behaviour, as well as identify and explore further opportunities for improvement throughout the remainder of this semester to maximise achievement.
