Learning Improvement Agenda

This Wednesday, 5th November, our Leadership Team will travel to Quirindi to attended the Annual Improvement Plan Review Meeting.  Along with St Joseph's Quirindi and St Michael's Manilla, we will present our review to members of the Armidale Catholic School Executive Team. This is a great opportunity to share the wonderful learning and teaching taking place in our school community. 

We will be proud to present the impact that our learning improvement agenda has had on student outcomes this year. Our student data, which is monitored very closely by the staff and leadership team, is very positive and is evidence that our research informed, consistent teaching practices work. NAPLAN is one external data set used to measure success and, again this year, we were more than pleased with the outstanding results. The two tables below show the average NAPLAN score for students at St Joseph’s and how they compare to those from inner regional schools, across the state and nationally. These comparisons clearly show how impressive our student results are, and they are also testimony to the quality learning and teaching that occurs every day here at St Joseph’s.
