Are you ready to access your child's school reports?

School Reports - End of Term 2

At the end of Term 2, primary and secondary student reports will be open for access on the parent portal. Please note that we will use an interim report format while we finalise an updated K-12 school report template for the end of 2026.

Families will be able to conveniently find reports in their parent portal. While these will not be printed, reports can be easily downloaded as a printout or for digital viewing with your child.

Take a moment now to check that your access is functioning. A password reset process is available by clicking on the blue link titled 'Can't access your account?' which appears at the bottom of the login screen.

Changes in traffic flow and increased heavy vehicle movement has started

We are excited to announce that the new building projects have commenced this week. As a result, this will mean some changes around the school carpark. 

New signage in relation to the build projects will be going up in the coming days to help inform contractors and trades about accessing the build sites.  The overflow car park entry will also become 2-way traffic for construction traffic only, for the duration of the builds. This will prevent a build-up of traffic, as well as heavy traffic using the main car park.  It may also mean that vehicles are entering the bus loop from the overflow car park and not just the main Old Southern road entry.

We are working with the project and site managers to try and limit the amount of construction vehicle movement during peak periods, like during before and after school drop off and pick up times.  However, there may be times in the build process where this will be unavoidable due to timing of certain activities, like concrete pours. Please be mindful of heavy vehicles accessing the site and stay extra vigilant when driving in and around the school site.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this build phase and we look forward to a time when we can all enjoy the new buildings!

Years 7 & 10 School Vaccination Clinic 29 June

NSW Health is holding one vaccination clinic at NCS this year for students in Years 7 and 10. The Vaccination Clinic will be held on Monday, 29 June at Nowra Baptist Church.

In Year 7, students are offered free vaccines for diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (whooping cough), (dTpa) and human papillomavirus (HPV). In Year 10, students are offered the meningococcal ACWY vaccine.

Vaccination will only be provided at school if consent has been received.

If your child is in Year 7 or Year 10, you can give consent online for their routine school vaccinations.

NSW City West Futsal Trials

Please note that this event is scheduled for a Sunday. Parents/carers are responsible for managing trial registrations, covering any associated costs, and arranging transport and supervision for this opportunity.

Absences

If your child will be absent for school, it would be appreciated if you could complete and submit the form below (this is on the Parent Portal, so you will need to log in with your Veracross Login). If no notification is received, an SMS will be sent out to you which will require you complete the same absence form.

This form can be completed in advance if you know your child will be away from school for any reason. However it cannot be completed retrospectively, please contact the office if you need to explain a past absence.
