Christmas Concert
Congratulations to all the students and staff for their preparation and then performance at the Christmas concert last Wednesday afternoon. It was so enjoyable to see all students actively involved, showing genuine enjoyment in performing with their classmates.
It was also fantastic to see so many family and friends able to make the time to come and enjoy the occasion with the students as well. I am sure this was much appreciated by the students who recognised familiar faces in the crowd and got the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience, many I'm sure, for the first time.
And Here We Are....
While writing this article I am finding it hard to believe that today is the final day with students for the 2025 school year. In particular it is the final day of primary school for our Year 6 students. I would like to take this opportunity to commend, congratulate and thank our Year 6 students for all of their wide and varied contributions to Albion North Primary School over the course of the last 7 years. For many of you this means you have been here for approximately 1435 days, which equates to almost 9000 hours of primary school.
It was so lovely to be a part of the graduation ceremony on Tuesday evening, where we had the opportunity to celebrate the impact you have had while at the school. A particular congratulations to students who received awards as a recognition of your hard work and dedication. Whether it be academic achievements, sporting achievements, leadership roles, JSC representation or consistent demonstration of our school's values you have all contributed and made a difference - thank you. You have all provided us with many treasured memories - and some challenging ones (but we are trying to forget about those ones)!!
During your time here it has been so rewarding watching you grow from those shy, timid Prep students in 2019 to the confident school leaders and role models you are today. Having spoken to many of the students after their orientation day on Tuesday it is evident that there is excitement at beginning the next chapter of schooling. Whilst there may be some nerves and reluctance you are all ready for the next step. Remember to work hard, make smart decisions and always strive to do the best you are capable of. This is all that is ever expected of you.
This week all students had the opportunity to attend excursions to either Airoworld (Foundation - 5) or Adventure Park (Year 6s). All students had a wonderful time together to celebrate the end of the year. There was nothing but positive feedback from the students I have spoken with.
I would like to thank all families for your positive support this year and wish everyone a safe and restful break. Enjoy your time together as a family and we look forward to seeing you all back on Wednesday 28th January, 2026.
