Thank You, Mrs Williams

Recently we celebrated Mrs Williams' nearly 18 years of faithful service to Mildura Christian College.  We said a very big 'Thank You' & 'Good Bye' as she moved into retirement.  It was a little earlier and more sudden than expected due to a health battle requiring immediate treatment.  We were obviously saddened by her sudden departure, but most of all we were thankful for her extraordinary contribution over such a long time.

Mrs Williams has been an immense influence in the lives of so many students passing through MCC.  Most recently, she taught Year 1/2, but she also spent many years teaching the Year 3/4 class and the Year 5/6 class.  There was even a short stint teaching Secondary English.

We thank God for Mrs William's generosity as well as her gentle and kind heart.  She is renowned for her sharp sense of humour and capacity to bring levity and fun in the midst of apprehension.   Our staff have greatly appreciated her considerable loyalty and consistent encouragement.  Mrs Williams has been a fierce advocate for those less advantaged and worked hard to see every one of her students, no matter their background, achieve success.

Mrs Williams has a battle ahead with intensive cancer treatment starting within days of her finishing up at MCC.  Please uphold her in prayer.
