Jeans for a Cause

As part of this Friday’s Father’s Day Breakfast, our staff took part in a special “Jeans for a Cause” day in support of prostate cancer awareness and research.

We wore jeans on the day and donated to support men and families affected by this devastating disease.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men, and the impact is deeply felt across our communities:

  • 1 in 5 men will be diagnosed in their lifetime
  • Around 26,000 men are diagnosed in Australia each year
  • Tragically, 3,901 Australian men lose their lives to prostate cancer annually

By participating, we were not only showing solidarity with the fathers in our own school community but helping fund critical research and support services.
