Fitting into Foundation Transition Final Session
(for students who have enrolled in Foundation 2024 at Karoo):
- Tuesday 12th December 2023 (State wide Orientation Day) 9:30am-11:30am
Students will receive their Transition Packs, and parents will have the opportunity to make a Parent Payment and collect the Foundation Book Pack.
2024 Foundation Dates
30th Jan - 5th Feb: School Entry Assessments (SEA)
Students attend for a 50min literacy session and a 50min numeracy session
6th Feb: Foundation Teachers' Planning Day
No Foundation students at school
7th Feb: Foundation students first day of school
If your child has an older sibling at Karoo - start at 9:10am
All other children - start at 9:30am
All Foundation students dismissed at 1:00pm
From 8th Feb onwards
All students start at 9:00am and finish at 3:30pm
