Getting to Know You Interviews:

Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Getting to Know You Interviews on Monday and Tuesday this week. We know that our teachers value the information shared as this will further contribute to the connections they are developing with the students. 

Foundation attending full time

Our Foundation students have begun their full time attendance from this week. The learning and development of routines are featured later in this newsletter. We are proud of the way our Foundation students have settled into school, following the school routines and demonstrating our school values in the classroom and in the playground. 

District Swimming

Last Friday we had a strong team of swimmers head off to the District Swimming carnival at The Pines pool. Our students demonstrated our school values when competing and when interacting with other students across the day. Thanks to all staff involved on the day with a special thanks to Katie Scott for her organisation of the day. 

NAPLAN

We wish our year 3 and 5 students well as they begin NAPLAN next Wednesday. We thank our school community for being respectful and moving quietly through the school over the next two weeks to maintain our calm and orderly learning environment while students undertake these assessments. 

Curriculum Day Friday and Public Holiday Monday

Just a reminder that tomorrow our staff will participate in a Professional Learning Day, students will not attend school. Monday is also a Public Holiday. We hope you all enjoy the long weekend. 

I will be on long service leave over the next two weeks. Melissa Jacobs will be the Acting Assistant Principal during this time.
