Before and Afterschool Care

Culture Club

This week in Japan Culture Club, the children had the exciting opportunity to try sushi making. They carefully rolled their sushi using rice, seaweed and a variety of fillings, learning about Japanese food traditions along the way. The activity supported the development of fine motor skills as children practised rolling and assembling their sushi, while also encouraging creativity and independence as they chose their own ingredients. Children also strengthened their cultural awareness and curiosity, exploring foods from another culture and sharing the experience together. It was wonderful to see the children proudly enjoying the sushi they created! Overall the picnic was a success!

TK goes Wild Party

As part of our TeamKids Goes Wild party, the children took part in an exciting nature scavenger hunt around the school grounds. Working together, they searched for different natural items and explored their environment with curiosity and enthusiasm. This activity helped build teamwork and communication skills as children collaborated with their peers, while also developing their observation and problem-solving skills. It was a wonderful way for the children to connect with nature, stay active, and enjoy outdoor exploration together.

Golden Easter Egg Hunt

Over Weeks 8–10, we will be celebrating Easter with our exciting Golden Egg Easter Hunt! Children will have the chance to search for hidden eggs around the service, with a special golden egg waiting to be discovered. This fun activity encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and observation skills as children work together to explore and hunt for clues. We look forward to lots of excitement, movement, and joyful moments during this special seasonal event!
