Girls Division Football
Our Girls Division Football team had a fantastic day of competition in Week 3, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The girls worked together brilliantly, encouraging one another and showing great support both on and off the field.
The team won three of their four games, narrowly missing out on a place in the final after a closely contested match. Throughout the day, our students represented St Kilian's with pride, enthusiasm and respect, making our school community incredibly proud.
A big thank you to Miss Barkmeyer and Miss McLean for coaching and supporting the team throughout the day.
Grade 5/6 Boys Division Football
Last week, our Grade 5/6 Boys' Football Team travelled to Catherine McAuley College, Bendigo, to compete in the Division Football competition. The boys represented St. Kilian's with pride, enthusiasm and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. They played hard-fought matches against St Francis, Strathfieldsaye PS, St Therese's and Girton, showing determination and resilience despite not recording a win. A big thank you to Mr Hammer and Ms Barkmeyer for coaching and supporting the team on the day. Well done, boys, on the way you represented our school!
Division Netball
Our Senior Boys and Girls Netball teams competed at the Division Netball Tournament yesterday.
The girls had a great start to the day, winning their first three games, and finished the day with three wins and three losses after some tough competition. The boys also had a successful day, finishing with four wins and two losses while demonstrating great effort and skill throughout the day.
Both teams represented our school with excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and plenty of talent on display. Thank you to Miss Barkmeyer and Miss McLean for coaching and supporting both teams.
