Learning Community 2

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about information reports, summarising and revising maths skills. 

To revise our maths skills, we all made our own maths games! It was great to see everyone get creative with their gameboards, rules and questions cards. We had a lot of fun playing and answering the addition, subtraction and place value questions we'd made. 

In Writing, we have been working with Mrs Lewis to make fact files of animals local to our area. We researched the animals, found where they live, created diagrams and out the fact files together. We're proud of what we created! 

Lastly in Reading, we have been learning to summarise texts using the 5Ws, and 'Somebody Wanted But So Then'. 

It was so lovely to catch up with so many families at the Parent Teacher Interviews - thank you for making the time to check in with us.
