This week, we continue to focus on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our teachers are dedicated to providing enriching learning experiences, and we encourage students to embrace new challenges with confidence.

Please keep an eye out for upcoming events and opportunities to get involved in school activities. Your participation and support are invaluable to us.

SPORTS DAY 2025

Our annual Sports Day is just around the corner! This much-anticipated event will take place on Wednesday the 9th of April 2025. It promises to be a day filled with fun, teamwork, and community spirit.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic events, showcasing their skills and teamwork. We encourage all students to wear their house colours and bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat to stay sun safe.

Parents and family members are warmly invited to join us and cheer on our young athletes. Your support and enthusiasm make this day even more special for our students.

A note was sent home to families this week and please keep an eye out for further details and a schedule of events, which will be sent home soon.

SRC - 2025

Classes have voted for their Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2025. In Week 5 we had our first meeting in which we discussed the purpose of the SRC, the important role of our Representatives and elected our Semester 1, Chairperson and Secretary.

Harmony Week 17th - 21st March 2025
Year 5/6 camp 24th-26th March 2025
NAPLAN
Students in Years 3 and 5 will participate in NAPLAN testing. NAPLAN will take place from Wednesday 12 to Monday 24 March.
Students will participate in 4 NAPLAN tests:
- writing
- reading
- conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
- numeracy.
Easter raffle and raffle donations
Tickets will be sent home today for our Easter Raffle. Thank you to the Fundraising Committee for organising our raffle again this year.
Please return all tickets and money to the Front Office. All donations can also be placed in the donation box in the Front Office.
Money raised will go towards upgrading our play and ground facilities this year. The students have lots of ideas and it would be great to see these in action.
Prizes will be drawn at Sports Day on Wednesday the 9th of April 2025.

Cake stall donations
At Sports Day our Fundraising Committee are holding a cake stall. We invite you to contribute by donating baked goods. Your delicious creations help make our events successful and enjoyable for everyone.
Important Reminder: Nut-Aware Donations
To ensure the safety and inclusion of all our students, please ensure that all donated items are nut-free. This includes avoiding any ingredients that contain nuts or nut products. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in helping us maintain a safe environment for those with allergies.
Please bring all donations to the cake stall on the day.
