Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,

With great joy, we congratulate our final group of students who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Tuesday this week.

We offer our sincere gratitude to Mrs Kathryn Ady, Mrs Liz Lamb, Mrs Liana Mackay, Mrs Emily Thorley, and Mr Nathan Mayberry for their faithful guidance and dedicated preparation of the children. Their efforts have helped nurture the faith of our young disciples and made this milestone a truly prayerful and meaningful celebration.

A special thank you to Fr Justin and Fr Joseph for celebrating the special mass with us.

"Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’" – John 6:35

Planning Week - Week 9

Next week, we are once again streamlining our specialist program so the classroom teachers can receive a full day of uninterrupted planning in preparation for Term 3.  Mr Speranza will also be working with the class teachers in his capacity as Learning and Teaching Leader to assist with planning.

This means all students will have their 6 x 45 minute specialist classes across one day (STEM, eLearning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Italian and Physical Education).

The specialist timetable for Week 9 will look as follows:

Tuesday - Year 1 & Year 2

Wednesday - Year 3 & Year 4

Thursday - Year 5 & Year 6

Friday - Prep

Students are to wear their sports uniform on their specialist day for this week.

Parent/Teacher Exchange

The next round of Parent/Teacher exchanges will occur on Monday 22nd June and Wednesday 24th June in the school hall.  We will be trialling the use of the 'nMeet' feature of our nForma platform to book in for these meetings. The booking link was sent out to families on Tuesday 9th June via nForma. Please follow the instructions below on how to make a booking via the nforma Portal if you are unsure how to do so.

Instructions if using the nForma Parent App below

The school playground will be closed while the parent/teacher exchanges are taking place.  All students must be inside the hall under their parents' direct supervision.

Smart Watches at School

We kindly remind families that smart watches are not permitted at school. These devices can be a distraction to learning and may pose privacy concerns. If a student is wearing a smart watch, they will be asked to remove it and store it in their bag for the duration of the school day. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment for all students.

School Safety

Please note that eBikes and eScooters are not permitted on school grounds or to be stored on school grounds due to safety reasons.

All adults and students who ride regular bikes or scooters to St Patrick’s are required to dismount and walk them whilst on school grounds.

Please find a news article regarding children's safety and eBikes & eScooters HERE.

Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
