Real Schools

At Derinya, we have partnered with Real Schools to strengthen our whole-school approach to relationships, wellbeing and behaviour support through Restorative Practices.
We use Restorative Practices to help build a safe, respectful and connected school community. Rather than simply focusing on punishment, Restorative Practices support students to understand the impact of their actions, take responsibility, and repair harm with others.
Through clear and consistent processes, students are supported to develop empathy, accountability and positive relationship skills. In this article, we share more about why Restorative Practices are an important part of our approach to wellbeing and behaviour support at Derinya.
