Dental Van:

Dear Parents and Carers,

Important Update: Change of School Dental Provider

I are writing to inform you that our school is changing our mobile dental service provider. We are moving from our previous private dental van provider to Smile Squad. Smile Squad is the Victorian Government’s free school dental program.

We have made this change because Smile Squad is 100% free for all public school students.

It requires no out-of-pocket costs, no hidden fees, and no complex Medicare or private health insurance claims.

What this means for you?

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, but your previous paperwork can no longer be used.

- Please fill out the new Smile Squad form below. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our students healthy

Dear Kerang Technical High School families,

The Smile Squad team from RFDS are coming to your school from Monday, 12th October 2026.

Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program. This means ALL students can get a free dental check-up, preventive services, and treatment at school.

How to access free dental care. We need your consent before we can provide services.

Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.

No, you do not need to attend your child’s appointment.

You can attend if you would like to, and you can take your child to the community dental clinic if you prefer. Before and after school appointments can be arranged for your convenience. The RFDS Smile Squad look forward to seeing you soon.
