Secondary Cross Country Carnival Success

The crisp winter sun shone beautifully yesterday for our Secondary Cross Country Carnival. The students were excited, the staff were ready to give directions and encouragement to students while stationed along our beautiful course across our PVCC Secondary campus.

Though there was a fantastic effort put in by all students, we had a few stand out with incredible times!

Primary District Athletics Champions

After weeks of training, our Primary District Athletics squad headed to the Meadowglen Track on a beautiful sunny day to compete against schools in our District. 

The students represented the College superbly, with standout efforts across the entire squad. Plenty Valley finished the event as the top school in our District, meaning that we have now been crowned as our District Athletics & Cross Country champions in 2025. An incredible effort by all students involved.

Auskick & Superkick

NAB AFL Auskick is a fun-packed, accessible 5-week program for all students from Prep to Year 6, introducing AFL and developing fundamental physical literacy (evasion, jumping, catching) through our various non-contact games and skill-based activities. AFL Victoria qualified staff are excited to deliver the program safely & conveniently based on school grounds, immediately after school on Wednesdays!

Alongside the Auskick program will be a Superkick program, NAB AFL Superkick is a modified version of AFL that focuses on skill development and match play for 7-to-12-year-olds. That means - tackle free (tag), highly social, shorter seasons and no additional training required.

These programs are available for all girls and mixed (boys & girls) groups and able to be modified for all students regardless of their background or previous experience.  The program consists of a $55 cover charge for 5 sessions per participant, including a free football and pump with registration! The program is also able to be paid in four instalments.

AFL Victoria looks forward to welcoming all PVCC families commencing Wednesday August 27th after school!

3:30 - 4:30pm on College’s top oval 

Wednesday August 27th, September 3rd, September 10th, September 17th and October 8th

Cost 

$55 for the full program, which includes a football and pump.
