SIS Debating

On the Friday 26 July, the SIS Debating team went to Flinders Christian College Tyabb to compete in the Round 1 competition with Ms. Towns and Mr. Goicoa. 

It was a good experience for many students who had never debated before and gained an understanding of how the process works and the skills one needs to defend arguments and challenge their opposition. 

There were some more experienced students, and many of these helped other newer students get ideas and structure their speeches. 

Overall, it was a good day, and we look forward to returning next year.
