Another great lunchbox idea is homemade cheese and bacon rolls. Why not give them a try with the kids over the school holidays? They’re fun to make together and perfect for lunchboxes.

This fortnight at playgroup, the children enjoyed creating stained-glass window art. The activity was simple but effective – choosing a butterfly, turtle, or bird silhouette, covering the cut-out with contact, and then decorating it with colourful cellophane pieces. The finished creations look beautiful displayed on a window.

Puzzles have been growing in popularity lately, and the new sensory play with coloured beans, pasta, trucks, and diggers continues to be a favourite. It is always wonderful to watch the children use their imagination, explore, and play together.
