Positive Behaviour For Learning

Starting Term 4 with Positive Behaviour for Learning

Welcome back to Term 4! As we begin a new term, it is a wonderful opportunity for all our students to reset, refocus and continue to grow as learners and as members of our SJV community.

This term, we will continue to focus on our SJV values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. These values guide the way we learn, play and interact with others each day.

Respect means using kind words and actions, listening to others and caring for our school environment.

Responsibility means making positive choices, being ready to learn and taking ownership of our actions.

Resilience means having a go, learning from mistakes, managing challenges and not giving up when things are difficult.

Through our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) approach, we will continue to explicitly teach, recognise and celebrate positive behaviours. We encourage families to talk about these values at home and celebrate the ways your children demonstrate them each day.

Let's make Term 4 a positive, respectful and successful term where every student feels safe, supported and ready to learn!
