Visual Arts - Diana 6B (Be a Learner) Diana showed great focus and diligence completing her dreamcatcher to a high degree of excellence. She easily understood and mastered the concept, executing it with finesse and skill. Congratulations and well done Diana!
Chinese - Maja 5A is always keen to catch up on learning tasks and shows resilience by working hard to complete her work to a high standard. Maja takes great pride in presenting her work with care and quality, demonstrating a strong commitment to doing her very best.
6A - Caspar for displaying a hard working attitude at all times in class. Caspar, you are a self-regulated learner who is always seeking challenges to extend your thinking. Well done Caspar!
6C - Shona for working incredibly hard and putting in a huge amount of effort across all subjects—especially reading. You are doing an amazing job and your efforts don't go unnoticed. Keep it up, Shona!
5C - Bon (Be Respectful) for showing respect and consideration for his classmates. Bon is focused on his work and is an excellent role model for others. He has readily worked with any of his new classmates. Bon is inclusive and has adapted well to his new school. Well Done Bon!
4A - Elissah (Be a Learner) Awarded to Elissah for demonstrating creativity and independence when completing tasks. She puts her own stamp on her work, using her great ideas to present her learning in engaging, thoughtful and well-planned ways.
4B - Ajay (Be a Learner) for the fantastic effort he has put into Maths this week! Ajay has worked hard to develop his understanding of money and could round money amounts to the nearest 5 cents. Ajay, I have been particularly impressed with the way you explain your thinking and how you could confidently describe the strategies you used to solve problems, such as partitioning and using a number line. Keep up the excellent work, Ajay!
4C - Valerie (Be a Learner) for showing heaps of curiosity and wonder during our excursion to Scienceworks! It was awesome to see you so engaged and eager to investigate all of the exhibitions. Incredible work, Val!
3A - Ada (Be a Learner) for always staying focused and completing learning tasks to a high standard. She takes pride in her work being presentable and uses very neat handwriting. Keep up the great effort Ada!
3B - Isaiah (Be a Learner, Be Respectful) for your fantastic contributions to our mini lessons this week and your dedication to keeping our classroom a great place to learn. By sharing your ideas and knowledge during our mini lessons, you have supported not only your own learning, but the learning of your classmates too. 2A- Hannah (Be respectful) for being a helpful and considerate classmate, showing fantastic whole-body listening and becoming more independent with your learning. Well done
2B - Tinsae (Be A Learner) for his fantastic focus and effort during Mathematics. Tinsae confidently shares his strategies during number talks. He never gives up when attempting to solve challenging problems and keeps trying his best. Well done, Tinsae!

You did a fantastic job going into the gym to watch the magic show, being an excellent audience member, and joining your Year One friends during dinner. FA - Ethan (Be a Learner) for showing great effort and stamina this week when writing his information report. Ethan included sentences with correct punctuation including full stops and capital letters. He also listened to feedback and used it to improve his writing. Well done Ethan!
FB - Elilta (Be Respectful) for consistently showing kindness to others. She helps those around her to pack up without being asked, always speaks politely to teaching staff and treats other students with care and respect. Thank-you, Elilta!

Visual Arts - Grace 1A (Be Safe) Grace showed fantastic awareness of safety in art during free creating. She carried her scissors correctly, picked up dropped items and used wire carefully… all without prompting. Congratulations and well done Grace!
Performing Arts - (Be a Learner) Semat for displaying such wonderful pride and a positive mindset while playing the ukulele during rehearsals and performance. She collaborated beautifully with your team, encouraged others to keep in time, and helped motivate everyone to confidently perform in front of an audience. Well done!
Chinese - Alaa 4A (Be Respectful) Alaa has shown wonderful growth in demonstrating our school values of Respect, Integrity, Resilience Collaboration and Pride through her developing independence and thoughtful approach to learning. Alaa’s enthusiasm for learning, particularly her keen interest in Chinese, is wonderful to see, and I look forward to teaching her again and watching her continue to grow.
6A - Isaac for being a fantastic class member, Isaac. You are hardworking, polite, and consistently demonstrate all of our school values. 4A - Richy (Be a Learner) for displaying a strong work ethic while catching up on and completing his writing tasks, including his tornado explanation. Richy has also been sharing his maths knowledge with the whole class during our guided practice work on using money (calculating change and estimating money amounts by rounding to the nearest $1). His dedication to his learning has been impressive! Keep it up, Richy!
4B - Coen (Be a Learner) for showing fantastic effort in writing his explanation text. Coen intentionally used topic-specific vocabulary and a mix of sentence types to up level his writing. He should be proud of his increased writing stamina too, and the consistent effort he puts into all of his learning. Excellent work, Coen!
4C - Jolisa (Be a Learner) for the incredible effort she has put into writing an amazing explanation text and publishing it in such a creative way. It has been great to see how inventive and imaginative you have been during this writing unit. Go, Jolisa!
3A - Hirad (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in his learning when creating a 3D model of a water cycle. He collaborated with a partner and used problem solving skills. Keep up the great work Hirad!
