District Athletics News
50 of our very talented students attended the Greenvale District Athletics Event on Friday the 21st of August at Meadowglen International Athletics Track.
All of our students participated and tried their best in various events throughout the day against other schools in our district. Our students were able to enjoy the services of the canteen throughout the day and behaviour was exemplary by all!
We had many amazing results throughout the day highlighted by our students below with their ribbons for finishing top 3. We now have 10 students attending Division Athletics on the 3rd of September, where we wish them all the best!
Thank you to again the many families who attended the day and cheered on our students in their events!

5/6 Interschool Sport Cricket Gala Day
Friday the 28th of August we attended our Interschool Sport Cricket Gala Day.
20 of our 5/6 students travelled via Public Bus using our school Myki cards to Greenvale for a fun day of round robin cricket. All students improved their skills throughout the day and had a great day competing!
Maya Zaya 5/6A - It was a fun day where we all showed our school values whether we won or lost. We all played fairly and improved our skills while we were playing! We won 1 game and had a great day!
Division Athletics - Thursday 3rd of September
After our outstanding efforts during the District Athletics event, we had 10 students attend the next round at the Woodlands Division Athletics!
Our students had to brave the challenging conditions with rain and wind making the events quite difficult, however all of our students tried their best and represented our school with pride!
When our students weren't competing, they were supporting their teammates and also enjoying the occasional trip to the athletics canteen to make sure they had energy for the day!
Well done to Khadijah Hasaneen (no photo permission) who finished 3rd in the 10yr old High Jump event and Ezan Arslan who also came 3rd in the 12/13yr old discus (pictured below).
