Science Night — Wednesday 9 September
Dear Parents/Carers,
Science Night is coming up, and we would love to see you there.
Our Annual Science Night will be held on Wednesday 9 September, from 5:00–6:00 pm. Families are welcome to come along at any time during the evening and visit the different classrooms.
Each class will run its activity four times, at 5:00 pm, 5:15 pm, 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm. This means there will be several chances to see your child take part, while also leaving time to visit other activities around the school.
Over the past few weeks, students have been busy getting their projects ready. They have planned, built, tested, changed ideas and worked with their classmates to prepare something to share with families.
On the night, you will see:
- Prep: Rainbow Rain and Lemon Volcano experiments
- Years 1/2: Balloon Rocket Races and Magnetic Fishing
- Years 3/4: Magnetic Car Races
- Years 5/6: Slowest Marble Run Challenges
Many students are very excited to show you what they have been working on. We hope you can join us for an evening of science, creativity and plenty of proud student presenters.

School Concert - Change of Date
Dear families and staff,
Following some unplanned changes to our Term 4 calendar, we have needed to move the date of this year’s school concert.
The concert will now be held on:
Wednesday 18 November - Term 4, Week 7
Our backup date, should it be required, will be: Wednesday 25 November
We know families organise work, care arrangements and other commitments around events such as the concert, so we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the change. We wanted to provide as much notice as possible once the revised date was confirmed.
As a result of the change, costume items are now due at school by Wednesday 28 October.
All other concert arrangements remain unchanged at this stage, with further information about performance times, arrival arrangements and tickets to be shared closer to the event.
