WEEKLY WELLBEING ACTION

'Look for acts of kindness happening around you and acknowledge them.'

Bullying No Way Week

This week, our classes have been taking part in Bullying No Way Week, an important opportunity for students to learn more about bullying, how it can affect others, and what we can all do to help create a safe, respectful and supportive school community.

As part of the week, classes have been watching the Bullying No Way online learning session. These sessions have helped students explore what bullying is, how to recognise when behaviour may be bullying, and the different ways they can respond if they experience or witness it.

Students have also been learning about the importance of speaking up and seeking help. They have been encouraged to talk to a trusted adult if they are worried about something happening to themselves or someone else, and to remember that they do not have to deal with bullying on their own.

Some classes have also been completing additional activities to reinforce their learning. Through discussions, activities and reflection, students have had opportunities to think about kindness, inclusion, respectful relationships and how their actions can help others feel safe and valued.
