Parents' Association and PAL organised events

Thank you to everyone who submitted funding proposals this Term. The funding proposals listed below have been approved by the committee for funding consideration at the meeting:
- New play equipment for the Year 7 area- $100,000
- Online subscription to Happy Families by Dr Justin Coulston - $1,500
- Mobile shade and seating shelters for the College Oval – Price TBC
Our next Parents' Association meeting will be held on Tuesday 25 August at 6:00pm in the Thomas More Exhibition Centre.
The agenda will be available in the Parents’ Association section on SEQTA.
We also encourage parents to come along to our Parent Sundowner on Friday 19 September. This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents in a relaxed social setting while celebrating our school community. BYO picnic and drinks, or pre-order food when purchasing your tickets. Drinks will also be available for purchase on the night. Book here.

Parent Sundowner - 19 September

St Louis Sports Centre (Space), John XXIII College
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a connected and welcoming school community, the John XXIII College Parents’ Association warmly invites all parents to join us for our Parent Sundowner, an informal, adults‑only evening on the College grounds, complete with live entertainment.
This relaxed, picnic‑style gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents, catch up with old friends, and celebrate the spirit of our College community.
Format: Picnic‑style
- BYO drinks or use the bar to purchase drinks on the night
- BYO picnic food or pre‑order catering by Ultimo when you purchase your ticket. (Food will not be available for purchase at the event.)
- What to bring: Picnic rug or low chairs
If doing BYO please no glassware.
Fathers’ Day Mass
We are delighted to host a Mass dedicated to Fathers and father figures on Friday, 4 September.

We would like to thank our PALS (Parents’ Association Liaisons) for their ongoing dedication and enthusiasm in bringing our community together throughout Term 2. Their efforts in organising a range of welcoming and engaging events have provided valuable opportunities for families to connect and strengthen relationships across year groups.
