Dear Netball Families

Round 12

What a fantastic comeback round for our teams, with 16 wins from 30 matches. The warm, sunny weather certainly helped our teams put in some great performances.

Primary School: 3 wins, 3 losses
Secondary School: 11 wins, 1 draw, 9 losses
Alumni: 2 wins, 1 loss

This weekend, there are a number of forfeits against our teams due to the IGSSA Schools Boarders' Weekend. Coaches have been informed and will advise players accordingly. Players whose games have been forfeited may be asked to assist other teams by filling in where required.

End of season events

We are excited to celebrate the conclusion of another fantastic winter netball season with two special events for our players.

These events provide a wonderful opportunity to come together and reflect on the hard work, teamwork, growth, and achievements of the season. We look forward to recognising and celebrating the contributions of our players, coaches, and club members, whose dedication, enthusiasm, and support have made this season such a success.

Secondary Netball Presentation Evening

Date: Monday 31 August
Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Location: Thomas More Exhibition Centre, John XXIII College
Includes: Buffet Dinner (Please select your preferred meal option for the evening) with juice, water & soft drink.
Dress Code: Formal winter uniform. Blazers are required upon arrival and for award recipient photographs.

Date: Wednesday 2 September, John XXIII College
Time: 3:30pm to 4:45pm
Location: Thomas More Exhibition Centre
Includes: Juice box and cupcake
Dress Code: Any school uniform attire
Attendance: Players, coaches and managers.
Parents are also welcome to join us and watch the awards and certificate presentations.

Coaches and Manager Gifts

As we approach the end of another wonderful netball season, many teams choose to recognise the time, commitment and support provided by their coaches and managers with a small token of appreciation.

To support a fair and inclusive approach for all families, we kindly ask that any contributions towards end-of-season gifts be limited to a combined total of $10–$20 per player, covering both the coach and manager. This allows teams to express their gratitude in a meaningful way, while ensuring there is no unnecessary financial pressure or expectation placed on families.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and help in maintaining the positive and inclusive culture that makes our Netball Club so special.
