Learning at Meadowbank

Meadowbank Public School Makes a Strong Debut at the Boccia Competition!

On Friday 8 May, three enthusiastic students from Meadowbank Public School proudly represented us at the School Sport Unit Boccia Competition, held at Thornleigh Brickpit Stadium. This was Meadowbank’s very first time attending the event, and our team certainly made their mark!

Our students performed outstandingly, coming first in their round-robin group and earning a place in the final against Epping West Public School. The final match was intense and closely contested, with both teams showing incredible skill and determination. By the end of the fourth quarter, the scores were locked in a tie, requiring a bonus round to decide the winner.

The excitement was electric as both teams gave their all. Epping West narrowly secured victory in the bonus round, but Meadowbank’s team can be immensely proud of their efforts and sportsmanship.
