2026 House Cross Country Report

The 2026 House Cross Country was a fantastic event, with students demonstrating outstanding determination, resilience, and sportsmanship across all age groups. It was great to see strong participation and house spirit throughout the day, with students pushing themselves and supporting one another from start to finish.

A special congratulations to our overall winners, with Jesse Fowler finishing first across the line in the boys event, and Elise Jewell finishing first across the line in the girls event—an outstanding achievement.

MWC Athletics Carnival

The MWC Athletics Carnival, held on Wednesday 29th April, was a fantastic day of competition, school pride, and outstanding athletic performances. Students represented Mortlake College with great enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship across all track and field events.

Yr 3-6 Divisional Athletics

On Friday 1st May, Hugo, Lewi and Ollie competed in the primary divisional athletics day held at Brauerander Athletics Track in Warrnambool. The boys did exceptionally well representing Mortlake College and should be very proud of their efforts on this day. Special shoutout to Lewi for coming 1st in the 100m dash and the long jump events for his age group.

Yr 3-6 District Cross Country

On Tuesday 5 May, 14 students from Years 3–6 represented Mortlake College at the district cross country. All students performed did an excellent job and should be extremely proud of their efforts. A special mention to Luca, who placed third in the 10-year-old age group.
