Busy Times and Bright Smiles at Our School!

It has been a wonderfully busy time for all our students, who have been diving into a variety of learning tasks with great enthusiasm and commitment. The hard work is paying off and it’s fantastic to see such energy and curiosity in every classroom.

One of the highlights recently was the Small School Cross Country event. What a fun day it was! Our students showed incredible spirit and sportsmanship, enjoying every moment of the challenge. We were so proud to see so many of our classmates qualify to move on to the next level in Narrandera — a truly amazing achievement!

Another special moment came from our class’s involvement in preparing and cooking treats for the school’s Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. By all reports, the delicious food we created was a big hit! It was a wonderful experience for our students to work together and contribute to such a lovely celebration.

In the classroom, Miss Jeffs literacy group has been on an exciting journey of discovery. They recently read an informative text about how paper is made. Inspired by this learning (and Miss Jeffs passion for the artist Kandinsky!), the students created a beautiful paper collage of a tree. The artwork has brightened our classroom and is a testament to the creativity blossoming in our school.

It’s been a rewarding term filled with learning, fun, and community spirit. We look forward to more unforgettable experiences ahead!
