Zooper Dooper Fundraiser - Monday 23rd March

As we continue preparing ourselves for Easter during this season of Lent, we are encouraged to make acts of charity. 

As a school supported by the Sisters of St Joseph for nearly 60 years, we plan to support Joseph's Corner in Yarraville. Joseph's Corner provides free counselling sessions for families who have a family member struggling with addictions. 

Next Monday , 23rd March, the Social Justice Leaders will be selling Zooper Doopers for $1.00 each at school after our School Athletics Carnival. The money raised will be donated to Joseph's Corner. Every $50.00 raised provides a counselling session for a family.

Pope Francis’ Prayer to Saint Joseph

The Catholic church celebrates the feast day of St Joseph each year on 19th March. Pope Francis composed the following prayer to Saint Joseph.

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,

Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

To you God entrusted his only Son;

in you Mary placed her trust;

with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,

show yourself a father

and guide us in the path of life.

Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,

and defend us from every evil. 

Amen.
