Join Us for the Rescheduled P&C AGM: Help Shape Our School’s Future!

We are warmly inviting all parents, carers, and community members to the rescheduled Ironside State School Annual General Meeting (AGM).

 

As you may recall, our previous meeting had to be adjourned whilst we awaited the finalisation of our annual financial audit. We are pleased to share that the audit has now been completed, and we are ready to officially look ahead to the future.

 

This is a vital meeting for our school community. As all current executive members are departing, we are looking for a new team to step up. Please note: Without a functioning executive committee, essential services like the tuckshop, uniform shop, and OSHC cannot operate.

 

Meeting Details

  • When: Tuesday, 9th June
  • Time: 6:30 PM (General Meeting to follow)
  • Where: School Staff Room

 

What’s on the Agenda?

  • Reviewing 2025: Formally adopting the completed Auditor’s Report and celebrating our achievements.
  • Elections: Filling all Executive Committee positions, including:
    • President: Leading the P&C and supporting school-community links.
    • Secretary: Managing records, agendas, and correspondence.
    • Treasurer: Overseeing financial management and budgets.
    • Fundraising Vice President: Overseeing fundraising and event coordination.
    • OSHC Vice President: Overseeing the operations of OSHC.
    • Parent Representatives Coordinator.

Your involvement is what allows us to provide the best possible environment for our students. Whether you want to lead as an executive or simply stay informed, your voice matters. New executive members will receive a comprehensive handover to ensure a smooth transition.
