Bicknell's Intersport Basketball Challenge
We are thrilled to announce that our school has made the Grand Final of the Bicknells Interschool Cup! This exciting basketball challenge takes place during half-time at the men’s and women’s Bendigo Braves games, giving students the incredible opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a large crowd.
Our participating students have worked hard throughout the competition, and we are proud of their outstanding effort and sportsmanship. The Grand Final will be held on Sunday 14th June at 2:30pm (halftime of the 2pm game) at Red Energy Arena.
We encourage our school community to come along and support the team. Even more exciting, our school has the chance to win a $2000 voucher from Bicknells Intersport to support our sports programs and equipment.
We wish our students the very best of luck in the Grand Final and look forward to cheering them on!
📣 Netball Introductory Clinic – Term 3!
Are your kids ready to hit the court, learn some fantastic new skills, and have a blast with their friends?
Come and try a Free Introductory Netball Skills Clinic coming in Term 3! This 6 week clinic is the perfect opportunity for students to try netball for the first time or sharpen their existing skills in a fun, supportive environment.
📅 Clinic Details
- Who: Open to all students in grade prep to 2 (all skill levels welcome!)
- When: Commencing 22/7/26 to 26/8/26
- Time: 3:20pm to 4pm (immediately after school)
- Where: St Kilian’s School Courts
Cost: Fully Free!
👟 What Students Will Learn
The sessions will focus on the fundamentals of the game through fun drills and mini-matches, including:
- Passing and catching accuracy
- Rules and positions of netball.
- Footwork and pivoting rules
- Shooting techniques
Teamwork and court spatial awareness
What to bring: Students should wear comfortable clothes and runners and bring a drink bottle. A healthy afternoon snack before the clinic starts is also highly recommended!
