Congratulations to the children from our school who celebrated their First Eucharist last weekend. It was a wonderful occasion for the children, their families and the parish community. The children should be proud of the commitment and preparation they showed leading up to this special milestone. Thank you to the families, parish volunteers and staff who helped make the celebrations so memorable. We wish the children every blessing as they continue to grow in faith and confidence.

This weekend, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, which is also known as Corpus Christi. It is a beautiful and sacred occasion that invites us to pause, reflect, and give thanks for the unique gift of the Eucharist.
While every Sunday Mass is a celebration of the Eucharist, this specific feast day allows us to focus entirely on the mystery of Jesus’ true presence in the bread and wine. It is a day to remember that through the Eucharist, Christ nourishes us, unites our community and remains with us always.

A reminder that the school is currently accepting donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and new blankets, scarves and beanies for our Vinnies Winter Appeal.
These donations will be presented to our local Vinnies volunteers during the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Mass at 10:00 am on Friday 12th June. Donations can be placed in the plastic tubs outside the staffroom doors before or after school.
Thank you for your generosity. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in the life of someone experiencing hardship this winter.

For the values of sport ...
Let us pray that sports be an instrument of peace, encounter and dialogue among cultures and nations, and that they promote values such as respect, solidarity, and personal growth.
Amen
