YEAR 10 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 5

St Mary's Day is Almost Here!

On Tuesday 11 August, we will come together as a College community to celebrate St Mary's Day, one of the most anticipated events on our school calendar. All timetabled classes will be cancelled for the day as we take the opportunity to connect, celebrate, and reflect on what it means to be part of the St Mary's family.

The day will begin with Mass, followed by a range of exciting activities across the College grounds, including a scavenger hunt, CO₂ car challenges, and the always popular 'Soaker', where students will have the chance to drench a teacher with water!

We will finish the day by coming together for our whole-school concert, showcasing the talent, creativity and spirit of our students. Year 10 students are encouraged to get involved, support one another, and make the most of this opportunity to strengthen our College community. Whether participating in activities, cheering on their peers, or simply enjoying time together, students' enthusiasm and positive attitude will help make the day memorable for everyone.

A reminder that all students must wear their House uniform on St Mary's Day. Please also note that Wednesday's classes will run according to the Tuesday timetable.

We look forward to celebrating with everyone and seeing our incredible College spirit on display!

Personal Grooming

As many of our young men are beginning to grow facial hair, this is a reminder that students are expected to be clean-shaven in accordance with College expectations. this may be a good time for students to establish regular shaving and personal grooming routines.

SET Planning Update

SET Planning interviews have now been completed, and students should be finalising their subject selections for the coming years.

We encourage students to carefully consider their choices and ensure these selections align with their strengths, interests, and future pathways. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's subject selections, please contact Felicity Earl, who will be happy to assist.
