WOW! What a great start to school our Preps have had! 

On Friday morning you could feel the excitement around the school and the anticipation of entering their classroom. We think the Parents were more emotional!! 

Our Preps have walked to special places in our school and visited Ms James in her office. When the children visited Ms James in her office they were asked , “What is Ms James’ job?” The children said that Ms James is the boss of our school, she helps people and tells children off when they are being unsafe.  Getting a sticker was a highlight! 

First day of school crowns were a hit and this week we have embarked on our learning. We have written our name and focussed on the letter m. More importantly, all Preps are taking their time to learn the names of their classmates and understand the routines of school. 

Carrying those big school bags and taking out the massive lunch boxes takes time to get used to. Whole body listening is a focus, and we are so impressed with how well the children sit and listen. 

We are so proud of each student and the start they have made to school. We are looking forward to the year ahead.
