Art Show Visit
Our Foundation to Year 6 students recently enjoyed visiting the Charlton Art Show, where they had the wonderful opportunity to view their own artwork displayed alongside pieces from other local artists. It was fantastic to see the pride students took in their creations and to celebrate the creativity within our wider community. A big thank you to everyone involved in organising this inspiring event!
A big congratulations to our winners: Harry (Foundation), Austin (Year 1), Audrey (Year 2), Tyson (Year 3), Don (Year 4), Cody (Year 5) & Chace (Year 6)
Vision Australia
On Wednesday, Vision Australia completed an education workshop with Foundation, grade 1 and grade 2 children focusing on long cane mobility and low vision in general. It was a great session where students developed an understanding of vision impairment and fit perfectly with International White Cane Day.

Book Review by Eli
Eli recommended the book Real Pigeons Fight Crime by Andrew Mcdonald. The mystery book is set in the city. The main characters are Tumbler, Rock, Grandpowder, Hommy & Thrillback. Rock is fighting crime and there are no breadcrumbs around. He would recommend the book to Grade 2 students to year 5 students and rates it 4.5/5 stars.
