It is an exciting, but busy time for our Year 12 students as they enter their last week of classes. Over the next week it will be a time for the college to celebrate this major milestone. But they won’t be completely finished as VCE exams will commence with the English exam on the 28th of October.
A reminder that hats are to be worn when outside during Terms 1 & 4. If your child needs a new bucket hat they can be purchased for $17.50 at the Office.
Regular school attendance is vital for student success. Everyday counts, and missing school means missing out on important learning opportunities. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged, achieve better academic outcomes and build strong social connections. However, if your child is sick, it is important that they stay home to rest and recover, and to prevent the spread of illness to other students and staff. If your child needs to be absent, I kindly ask that you inform the school.
There have been confirmed cases of head lice reported in our school community. While head lice are a common occurrence among school-aged children, it is important to take prompt action to help prevent further spread.
Please take a few minutes to check your child’s hair and scalp carefully for signs of lice or nits (eggs).
If lice are found, please begin treatment immediately and notify the school. Your local pharmacist or healthcare provider can advise you on appropriate treatment options.
To help prevent the spread:
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy and comfortable for everyone.
