St Simon Sport Leaders
A sincere thank you to our St Simon’s Sport Leaders for 2025—Louis Caia, Matilda Eimermacher, Kyan Stone and Scarlett Woods. Throughout the year, they have shown great dedication in promoting and encouraging participation across all areas of sport, helping to foster a positive and inclusive sporting culture within our school community. We hope the leadership skills they have developed in these roles continue to support them in their community and representative teams, as well as in their future high school sporting experiences.

These students have shown great track speed, athletics field power and long distance endurance demonstrated either at the St Simon Athletics Days or during their representation of St Simon at SSV Track and Field or Cross Country competitions. St Simon Sport 2025
Thank you to all parents and volunteers including past St Simon students who have supported our students for any Interschool Sport competitions this year! We hope to have your continued support in 2026.
In 2025, there has been a wide variety of success with individual student athletes coming 1st and 2nd in Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming from the Wantrina District, Knox Division and Eastern Metropolitan Regional level of SSV competition.
A standout achievement for St Simon this year was securing 13 premierships and 11 runners-up pennants across basketball, soccer, AFL (boys and girls), netball, teeball, tennis, cricket and softball. This outstanding success is a true testament to the determination, teamwork and sporting skills of our students. We commend their dedication and commitment to sport and look forward to building on this success next year, continuing to support our students’ growth both individually and as part of a team.

St Simon Interschool Sport Key Dates 2026:
Please note the following date for our SSV Wantirna District and Knox Division for the 2026 calendar year.
These dates are subject to change according to the discretion of the District and Division Coordinator. We wish to provide parents of our school the opportunity to acknowledge when upcoming sporting events are occurring.
We particularly call out to all future Year 5 and 6 parents to note the dates and to be potentially available to support our Interschool Sport teams as parent involvement not only supports our students in many ways as coaches and umpires but helps our staff with assistance with supervision. We thank all parents for their great help in making Interschool Sport a success for St Simon!
