Legally Blonde – The Musical coming soon

Our fabulous Secondary cast and band have been working hard rehearsing for several months, preparing to deliver a super show at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre in just a few weeks from Thursday, 14th to Saturday, 16th August.

Last week, they wrapped up a seriously successful Legally Blonde production camp! The cast brought incredible energy, commitment, and talent to every rehearsal, and the band delivered outstanding performances that brought the show to life. It was an amazing few days of hard work, laughter, and creativity—this production is going to be so much better than before!

Like the novel and film of the same name, this vibrant and empowering story follows Elle Woods, a determined young woman who defies stereotypes to pursue her dreams at Harvard Law School. With catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and a heartwarming message, this musical showcases themes of self-discovery, confidence, and perseverance. It's a celebration of holding fast to core values and confidently living them out.

Come and see our talented Secondary cast perform this fun, high-energy musical, supported by our fabulous band!

Tickets are available to purchase here - don’t wait, they’re going faster than you can say “Objection!”

Content Note

Legally Blonde: The Musical is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film. While lively and entertaining, it also touches on some complex and mature themes.

At Plenty Valley Christian College, we recognise parents as the primary educators of their children and value our role as partners in that journey. With this in mind, we consider a PG (Parental Guidance recommended for persons under 15 years) rating appropriate for this production.

Vanuatu Missions follow-up

The Great Commission, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel" Mark 16:15.  At PVCC we live out our faith by going out and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. Over the last school holidays a group of year 10 students had the opportunity to serve in the community of Victory School of Hope in Black Sands.  We are thankful to God for this opportunity to serve and pray that their impact in that community will be entirely used to glorify Him.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to all our community for praying for this team while they were away. Your prayers were well answered, we were so blessed with both travel there and back and in our time on the island.

For students who are already attending or enrolled to attend the College, new application forms are not required. Please note that if your child is enrolled at Plenty Kids Early Learning Centre, you do not need to submit an application for Prep. We will reach out to you by the end of Term 2, when your child is in 4-year-old kinder, about transitioning to Prep at PVCC.

Please share this information with friends and family who may be interested in joining us at Plenty Valley Christian College. The Key Dates for Enrolment in 2027 can be found in the link below, which you can share with others.

Applying by the due date is an important step in securing a place for your child at Plenty Valley Christian College or Plenty Kids Early Learning Centre, even if you have other children already attending the College. While the College prioritises applications from current families, late applications may not always be accommodated. We encourage you to apply by the due date to give your child the best chance of receiving a spot.

If you require assistance with enrolment, please do not hesitate to contact our Registrar, Margaret, at 9717 7400 or margaret.vella@pvcc.vic.edu.au.
