That’s a Wrap for ART FOR ALL

What an incredible weekend it was at ART FOR ALL! Whether you came to view the art, join in the activities, or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, every FPS family played a part in making ART FOR ALL a celebration to remember.

It was fantastic to see everyone checking out the gallery, children’s gallery and shop on Friday and Saturday – particularly the Art Trail which is always loved by kids. We’re pleased to announce the Art Trail winners:

• Freddie, FB
• Henry, 4C
• Scarlett, 5B

The Gala Night was a fantastic evening, with delicious canapes served by our Grade 6 students and festivities kicked on past midnight.

On Family Fair Day there was something for everyone to enjoy, from adding your dots to the community art project, to Club Kusama Disco and the rides that took over the oval.

The ArtZone overflowed with imaginative energy and the clay and tie dye were as popular as ever. A special highlight was the Kids’ Makers Market on Sunday, where our enterprising Grade 5 and 6 students ran their own stalls, inspiring us all with their creativity and business spirit.

The Fig Tree Stage came alive with fantastic performances from Tyler, the FPS Choir and Band and more, with Northside Hustle finishing Family Fair Day off with a set that got everyone up and cheering.

Funds Raised

We’ll be able to share the total amount ART FOR ALL raised for the school in the next school newsletter, and in the meantime we’re thrilled to share that the gallery achieved record sales this year, and our Auction for an Auction raised a remarkable $10,000!

We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who baked, donated and volunteered. Your enthusiasm and generosity made the event a wonderful success.

Before we Wrap Up

If anyone has accidentally taken home some of the school’s black reusable coffee cups, please return them to the school office so we have enough for the Special Person’s Breakfast 😊
