Carlton Respects Game
Carlton Football Club would like to invite our school community to the AFLW Carlton Respects game on Sunday 26th October at IKON Park. This is a special offer to our partner school that have completed our Road to Respect program, I recommend getting in sooner rather than later in case they sell out!
Our Year 3/4 students who have recently completed the Road to Respect program were invited to create posters that reflect their learnings from the program, (drawings, colour, key words encouraged). The club is displaying these posters as large artworks at the game – so their art will be on display! A student/s will be given opportunity for as a school representative to be in the Guard of Honour.
Positive Behaviour for Learning - PBL
In our recent Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) lesson, students focused on the expectation “I wait for my turn to speak.” Together, we discussed why it is important to listen respectfully and give everyone a chance to share their ideas. Through role play and class activities, students practised using active listening and waiting patiently. This helps create a supportive classroom where everyone feels heard and valued.
Fundraiser for Heidelberg Police

As a community, we share in the sorrow of our local police officers during this challenging time. Many of us have witnessed their dedication, often overshadowed by negativity. It’s vital to remind them that they are not alone and that countless voices express gratitude for their unwavering service. Our fundraiser aims to provide daily support through café credits for the station, alongside contributions to the Victoria Police Legacy, which helps families of injured or fallen officers. This initiative is a heartfelt gesture to show our local heroes that their sacrifices are recognised. Let’s unite to ensure our message of support reaches them promptly. Your donation not only aids this cause but also amplifies our appreciation.
