Principal News

Dear Sacred Heart Community,
As we journey through the season of Easter, we are reminded of the hope, renewal and new life that this special time brings. Easter calls us to recognise that even in times of challenge, light overcomes darkness and joy can be found in new beginnings.
It has been a wonderful and busy term at Sacred Heart, filled with rich learning, joyful moments and a strong sense of community. We thank our families for their continued support and partnership, and we wish everyone a safe, restful and happy holiday break.
Prayer
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of our school community and
for the many blessings of this term.
As we celebrate the joy of Easter, fill our hearts with hope, peace and kindness.
Be with our students, families and staff during the holidays, keep them safe and renewed.
May we return refreshed, ready to continue learning, growing and caring for one another.
Amen
Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct
A reminder to all parents and guardians regarding expectations within our school community. At Sacred Heart Primary School, we value respectful relationships and a shared commitment to supporting the wellbeing of all students.
Families are asked to refrain from:
- Approaching a child who is not their own with a view to disciplining that child for their behaviour. Such matters are to be managed by school staff only.
- Approaching other school parents to resolve issues arising between students at school. Any concerns of this nature should be directed to school staff.
We encourage open communication and partnership. If any concerns arise, come and see me so we can work together to find a positive and respectful resolution.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe, respectful and positive environment for all at Sacred Heart Primary School.
Easter Bonnet (Hat) Parade 🐰🌸
The Easter Bonnet (Hat) Parade was a wonderful celebration of creativity and joy across Sacred Heart. It was so inspiring to see the students’ imaginative designs, bright colours and smiling faces on display. The parade created a special sense of community, bringing together students, staff and families in a joyful celebration.
We extend our sincere thanks to our students for their enthusiasm, to our staff for their support, and to our parents for their time, effort and creativity in helping bring these beautiful bonnets to life.
Easter Hamper Raffle 🐰🥚🌸
A big thank you to all the families who generously donated Easter goodies and purchased raffle tickets for our hampers. Your kindness and support are deeply appreciated and helped make this initiative such a success.
A special thank you to Monica, Amy’s mum, and Tendayi Azariah’s mum for thoughtfully putting together the beautiful Easter hampers. Your time, effort and care in creating them are truly appreciated.
Congratulations to the lucky winners of the five hampers: Miss Liz (Year 2), Austin (Year 5/6 M), Raven (Foundation), Vlami and Zach (Year 3/4 AL & Year 2), and Valentina (Year 1).
A very big thank you also to Dessy and Mark (Laura’s mum and dad) for kindly donating the delicious Hot Cross Buns. Together, we raised an amazing total of $544.50 through the raffle and Hot Cross Buns.
A special thank you to our school leaders; Natalie, Layla, Cody and Brenton for their enthusiasm and support in selling raffle tickets and Hot Cross Buns, and for hosting our School Bonnet Parade. Your leadership, teamwork and positive energy helped make these events a wonderful success for our school community.
Thank you again for your ongoing support and for helping make this Easter season extra special for our school community. 🌷💖
