Showcase of Learning - 5 Green
Year 5 Green delivered an engaging and thought-provoking presentation on healthy choices and the importance of caring for our wellbeing. Through their exploration of positive wellbeing, physical health, spiritual health and mental health, students encouraged us to reflect on the choices they make each day.
A highlight of the presentation was their examination of popular characters, such as Mario, and whether their actions reflected healthy decision-making. Drawing on 1 Corinthians 3:16, students reminded us that our bodies are gifts from God and should be treated with respect. Their message encouraged us all to make choices that support a healthy, balanced and God-honouring life.
Great job, 5G!
Year 4 Visit the Maritime Museum
Our Year 4 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Australian National Maritime Museum, where they explored Australia's rich maritime history through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and visits to historic vessels.
The experience provided valuable insights into exploration, migration, naval service, and life at sea, while encouraging curiosity and bringing classroom learning to life. We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm, engagement, and excellent behaviour throughout the day.
KB and KG Celebrate 100 Days of Kindergarten!
On Thursday our Kindergarten students celebrated their 100th Day of Kindy with a special focus on this year's theme: BRAVE. Throughout the day, students participated in a range of fun and engaging activities that marked 100 days of learning, growth, and achievement.
As they reflected on all they have accomplished so far, they also explored what it means to be brave trying new things, facing challenges, showing kindness, and growing in confidence. We are so proud of our Kindergarten students and the courage, resilience, and enthusiasm they have shown throughout their first 100 days of school!
