Student Leadership 2026

Early next year, students will be organising and selecting (electing) Student Leadership positions for 2026.

Positions include: School Captains (Year 12 students)

                                    School Vice Captains (Year 12 students)

                 House Captains Male and Female for Richardson and Buloke Houses

                 House Vice Captains - Male and Female

                                    SRC representatives: 

Representatives from each year level - elected by the year level - up to four per year level.

The Role of the School Captain is to represent the students and the school at various events and functions.  Also, the Captains and Vice Captains will be SRC leaders

House Captains and Vice Captains are elected by the House, with the role to lead and represent the house.

The SRC members have a number of roles, however, it is largely to enhance the student experience of students at Donald High School. The includes:

• Organising Free Dress Days (four per year)

• Considering the operation of the canteen

• Organising lunch time activities

• Fundraising for organisations (such as DHS Sponsor Child, MND Foundation, Children's Cancer, and other organisations that the SRC consider worthy)

• Organising sports day against neighbouring school.

• Other actions that the SRC consider worthy and achievable.

SRC meetings will be held on a regular basis.

Students are encouraged to consider these positions, and on returning to school in 2026, be prepared to take on roles to increase your personal capacity and make a positive difference to life at Donald High School.
