What a wonderful end to the year we have had...busy, but wonderful.

It was so amazing to see the students complete their acts for the school concert. They did an amazing job. Our Grade 6 students also had a fun day out at Adventure Park last week...even enjoying a cheeky Maccas run on the way back to Colac. Then, the year concluded with our Grade 6 Graduation night at RRRTaG. Our Grade 6 students displayed all of their confidence, poise and maturity on the night, making it a great exhibition of just how amazing and ready to take on the world that they all are.

To our students and families, I wish you a wonderful holidays. I hope it's restful, enjoyable and fulfilling.

I'd like to thank the staff that have worked in the Grade 5/6 classroom this year, Kylie, Georgia, Meg and Megan. We have made an incredible team. The memories of working with you all this year will stay with me for a very long time.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of my own amazing journey at Alvie Primary School. For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working in this amazing school, meeting and working with so many wonderful people. I'm looking forward to the next 12 months (anyone who's had a chat with me knows my excitement about being able to walk to work), but it'll certainly be hard being away from this beautiful community during that time.
