SSL Team Update

Our 2026 School for Student Leadership (SSL) students have been working to finalise their Community Learning Project (CLP). Implementing a CLP once they have returned from the SSL experience is one of the key outcomes of the program. Nina, Harry, Zoe and Caleb's project is working with the Outdoor School (Bogong) to facilitate a Year 9 / Grade 6 mentoring day. This is planned for the 5th of November, and we wish them all the best for a successful day.

Congratulations

Three of our students qualified for the State Athletics Championships earlier in the term. Rowan and Eddy were unable to attend their events, but we'd like to commend their Hume Region wins which progressed them to the State level event.

Evelyn, in her final year of school, took out first place in Discus. An accomplished and talented athlete throughout all her years at Mount Beauty Secondary College, we couldn't be prouder of the way she has capped off her sporting achievements with this Gold medal.

Year 12 Celebrations

Here they are in action! Playing games, up on stage, a guard of honour, sibling games, bbq with the staff, awards and more! We will miss you Class of '26.

Some final words of wisdom from Dr Seuss - Oh The Places You'll Go!

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own*. And you know what you know. And YOU are the person who’ll decide where to go."

*Editor note - you are not on your own, the staff at MBSC are always here should you need us!
