A message from the Principal Team

Principal’s Newsletter
Dear Armstrong Creek School Community,
As we continue to build strong foundations for the year ahead, I would like to take a moment to celebrate, acknowledge and remind our community of some important happenings across the school.
Student Support Group Meetings
This week we have held a number of Student Support Group (SSG) meetings. These meetings are an important part of our commitment to ensuring every student is known, supported and able to thrive.
Thank you to the families who participated. Your insights, collaboration and partnership are invaluable. When school and home work together with shared understanding and clear goals, our students benefit enormously.
Parent Teacher Conferences – Next Week
Next week we look forward to hosting our Parent Teacher Conferences. These meetings are a valuable opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school.
I know our staff are genuinely looking forward to connecting with families, sharing insights and continuing to work collaboratively to support each student’s growth. Your engagement in these conversations makes a real difference.
Year 9 Change Maker Excursions
Well done to our Year 9 students on demonstrating our values of Care, Collaboration and Commitment whilst out and about on your Change Maker excursion day. You conducted yourselves with maturity and pride, and we are extremely proud of the way you are representing our school in the broader community.
Reminder: Communication Process
At Armstrong Creek School, we value open, respectful and timely communication. To ensure concerns are addressed efficiently and appropriately, we kindly remind families of our communication process:
- Classroom teacher is always the first point of contact for any concern relating to your child’s learning or wellbeing.
If further support is required, matters can then be escalated to relevant leaders as outlined in our policy, please note leaders will be asking if you have contacted the classroom teacher first, prior to addressing your concerns.
Our Complaints Policy can be accessed here:https://www.armstrongcreekschool.vic.edu.au/uploaded_files/media/complaints_policy.pdf
Following the correct process ensures that concerns are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible, and supports positive relationships across our community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to Armstrong Creek School. Together, through Care, Collaboration and Commitment, we continue to create a school where every learner can thrive.
Warm regards,
Lizzie Tout
