Boarding Bulletin
Mrs Kathryn Searle, Head of Boarding
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
We will open our Boarding House doors again mid-morning on Tuesday 22 April.
We have had a busy holiday break with our Assistant Head of Boarding, Ms Tina Mills, and Head of Sport & Activities, Ms Cerene Hughes, heading to Mackay to visit our families in the area, Christian Brothers College Adelaide once again hiring our facility throughout the break for the annual EREA football competition held at Nudgee College, new carpet being laid in the dining room, and the renovation of our storage area post-cyclone.
Please ensure your child returns with only one suitcase and one storage crate as this area has limited space.
This term we welcome four new boarders and their families to our boarding community. Welcome to Rosie and Kevin in Year 8, Cassie in Year 9, and Chloe in Year 11.
We have many fun activities planned for Term 2 with the following major events taking place:
Date | Activity |
---|---|
Friday 25 April | ANZAC Day Dawn Service in the City |
Sunday 11 May to Saturday 17 May | National Boarding Week |
Friday 13 June | Year 11 Soiree |
I will be hitting the road to showcase our wonderful school and Boarding House throughout Term 2 in the following areas:
Date | Activity |
---|---|
Thursday 1 May to Sunday 5 May | Goondiwindi Aspects Art Show Goondiwindi Show Visit to Hebel |
