Division Soccer Success

Congratulations to our Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer teams for their fantastic efforts at the Division Soccer Tournament last Wednesday. Both teams represented our school with pride, demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day.

Our boys competed valiantly against strong opposition, showing great resilience and commitment in every match. A special congratulations goes to our girls, who produced an outstanding performance to claim the Division 2 Championship, bringing home the trophy as deserving winners.

Thanks to Mr Hammer and Mrs Vaughan for their coaching duties and to the supporters who cheered the teams on. Well done to everyone involved!

Bicknell's Interschool Cup Basketball Challenge

Congratulations to the students who proudly represented our school in the Bicknell's Interschool Cup Basketball Challenge, held over several weekends this term during the half-time breaks of the Bendigo Braves basketball games.

Students competed in a variety of basketball skill challenges, including shooting, passing, dribbling and footwork, demonstrating impressive teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Their hard work and dedication saw them progress all the way to the Grand Final against strong opposition.

Although we were unable to claim the title, reaching the Grand Final was a fantastic achievement and one that everyone involved should be immensely proud of. Congratulations to the following students for their contributions: Charlie Bickley, Jimmy Cox, Ollie Ender, Imogen Clee, Jordyn Apps, Otis Olsen, Heath Barber, Flo Martin, Dusty Scarlett, Harry Adams, Darcy Fitt and Archie Keane.

📣 Netball Introductory Clinic – Term 3!

Are your kids ready to hit the court, learn some fantastic new skills, and have a blast with their friends?

Come and try a Free Introductory Netball Skills Clinic coming in Term 3! This 6 week clinic is the perfect opportunity for students to try netball for the first time or sharpen their existing skills in a fun, supportive environment.

📅 Clinic Details

Who: Open to all students in grade prep to 2 (all skill levels welcome!)
When: Commencing 22/7/26 to 26/8/26
Time: 3:20pm to 4pm (immediately after school)
Where: St Kilian’s School Courts
Cost: Fully Free!

👟 What Students Will Learn

The sessions will focus on the fundamentals of the game through fun drills and mini-matches, including:

Passing and catching accuracy
Rules and positions of netball.
Footwork and pivoting rules
Shooting techniques
Teamwork and court spatial awareness

What to bring: Students should wear comfortable clothes and runners and bring a drink bottle. A healthy afternoon snack before the clinic starts is also highly recommended!
