Pelvic Pain Talks

John XXIII have engaged with the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia, a not‑for‑profit organisation offering the Periods, Pain and Endometriosis Program (PPEP Talk®) across WA schools, including John XXIII College. The program helps to de‑mystify period pain, pelvic pain, and endometriosis, as well as provide practical strategies to manage pain, understand what’s normal, and know when to seek help.

An educator has visited the Year 10 students at the College for the past three years, and last year they also delivered their menstrual education program to our students for the first time.

They will be returning this year to visit the Years 5 and 6 students, as well as the Year 10 students, on 20 August.

We will be trialling a Sick Bay Kit, which many schools are finding extremely valuable.
